Fairy Week!

It's Fairy Week very soon at my local Art gallery, Ty Celf, in Ruthin, North Wales. So here are some of my fairy designs that will be on sale at the end of this month. 

Tiger Time

I have always loved these beauties, and my boyfriend recognising this adopted one on my behalf as a lovely christmas present for me.  I'm going to admit, after recently reading Colleen Houck's books Tiger's Curse, i've become even more inspired by them. Turns out that that inspiration has managed to creep into my artwork. The idea that so little of these gorgeous creatures are left in the world saddens me. I hope that my artwork might inspire others to consider this horrible fact, and to try help in keeping tigers around. 

Salsa

I'm absolutely in love with Strictly Come Dancing, and after watching a nights show with my folks, I decided to try out a sketch of a salsa dance.

Another idea for a friends Nursery picture, i'm still quite unsure on what style to follow for them all.

Finally! A final piece.

Nursery

Currently, I've been trying to come up with a few designs for a baby's nursery. The idea i'd like to do is to have 4 pictures of a girl and her pet in the 4 different seasons of the year. I'm working on the Winter and spring ones at the moment, and so far i've done a few ideas, but i'm un-sure of which style to use.

Zombie Day

My Boyfriend I have always discussed our plan for when/if zombies happened to take us all over. His plan was a lot more thought out than mine, and I mean FULL detail. So a fellow friend and I decided to put our boyfriends to the test. We sent them on a surprise trip to Reading Shopping Mall for a zombie experience day, just as a test to see if they'll really be as useful and efficient to us as they claim to be! This is a picture I drew up for him as a way of unveiling the surprise.

The end result - he'll be very useful.
